Each piece is individually carved by hand from wood. The hidden key is the secret to opening the box. Once the box is opened one will find the interior beautifully lined with a crushed velvet fabric, which helps to avoid scratching and provides aesthetics. Jewelry, money or other items can be stored inside the boxes.
The boxes are mostly animals, but some other designs exist too. Besides being fun they also make great decorative pieces. The puzzle boxes make great gifts, especially for the animal lover or collector.
